Behold, my healthy breakfast:

That, my friends, is two big spoonfuls of unsweetened natural yoghurt, topped with a spoonful of sultanas, a spoonful of pumpkin seeds, and two spoonfuls of blueberries. It’s delicious! It’s also blessedly free of processed sugar. This week I’ve been sugar-free and, so far, it isn’t too terrible.

  1. I envy you having easy access to sultanas that haven’t been coated in sugar or sunflower seeds that aren’t coated in vegetable oil! (Mind you, I can get them here, but the sugared and oiled varieties are just more common.)

    1. I don’t think I’ve ever seen sultanas or pumpkin seeds for sale here in anything but their unpimped state. It’s old school in the supermarkets here!

    1. Health kick – I realised quite how much sugar I eat and decided to cut down. I have completely failed to give up anything for Lent this year, which is pretty slack of me.
